The Global Business Insight Behind Mindplexus

Over the past two decades, I have mentored many brilliant young interns and graduates. Even back then, a real-world readiness gap was obvious: Schools gave them flawless knowledge of textbook frameworks and the confidence to perform large calculations but left them completely unequipped to navigate messy complexity or uncertainty.

Now, the AI age has amplified this readiness gap by quietly shrinking the traditional training runway. The routine, repetitive tasks that freshers relied on to gain real-world experience and build on the job skills are rapidly disappearing—and with them, the luxury of slow onboarding and extended mentorship. Today's workplace demands that they arrive ready on day one to steer technology and solve problems.

And as a parent, it made me wonder: How can we help them build this muscle? Are we missing our child's greatest opportunity to compound these skills early?
